Package Overview

Varanasi, sometimes referred to as Kashi or Banars, is a sacred city that may be found on the banks of the Ganges River in the state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. It has been a hub of spirituality, religion, and culture for countless years and is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world.

Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism all see Varanasi as a sacred city that is full of significant temples, monasteries, and other places of spiritual and cultural significance. The city is a popular destination for pilgrims from all over India and the world because of its congested markets, historic architecture, and winding lanes.

The Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Dashashwamedh Ghat, a bustling riverbank where daily Ganga Aarti ceremonies take place, and the Sarnath, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site just outside the city are a few of Varanasi's most well-known sights.
