The birthplace of the most iconic character from the tales of Ramayan, Sita. A temple is known for the Sita lies near Sitamarhi. Local people say this temple is 100 years old or more than that. The locals passionately recreate the marriage of Sita and Rama by building a life-size clay replica and celebrate it as part of Vivah Panchami. Devotees come in thousands during Navratri and Rama Navami festivals. There is a large courtyard and a provision of solar-powered lights. The temple is a fairly big temple with an old ideal structure. 108 feet Hanuman Statue is at Sitamarhi, the posture of the statue shows Lord Hanuman with his folded hands, the temple is very old and beautiful. Today Sitamarhi became a pilgrimage centre for the presentation of tradition and mythology devotee visit here a lot as it is the perfect destination who believes in our old ideal tales of God.
